Raiden Tadgh Kawakyu-O'Connor was born on October 5, 2006, at 3:43am at Touro Infirmary in Post-Katrina New Orleans, Louisiana!

30 minutes after arriving at the hospital- giving the hospital staff just enough time to hook mom up and getting her settled in the delivery room, and giving daddy dondon enough time to move the car away from the emergency room entrance/exit ramp and come back to the delivery room- Raiden made his grand appearance at 6 lbs 13 oz.

Aodhan's first encounter with his new baby brother entailed Aodhan making a mad dash to the bassinet and calling him "RaiRai! Baby!" and then offering Rai some of his snack (goldfish and apple juice.) So far so good...
